Press Release: Drift.com Did Not Generate This Content

As the fastest growing motorsport in the nation, drifting has swept North America by storm. Since it's major public debut at Irwindale Speedway in 2004, drifting has elevated it's nationwide status to a full-fledged professional motorsport.

In taking a stronghold on the automotive industry, it has created the personalities that now represent the American drift community. You know the big names in American drifting, and if you don't... you probably don't know what drifting is.

There is an unwritten chapter in the story of drifting in North America. That chapter involves the people who will truly shape where drifting is headed in this country. It is about the people who pour their blood sweat and tears into building a drift car on their own terms; the people who buy their own tires; the people who invest every dime they make into this sport... because they love it.

Grassroots drifting is heart and soul of what this sport will evolve to be in this country. This is their chapter. This documentary is not about going big or going home... this documentary is about going at all.

Spanning 15 cities in 30 days, this tour will attempt tp unearth the very core of North American drifting like no other project has done to date.

This documentary is about and glorifying street drifting, which is something that anyone concerned about this sport should work hard to prevent. It has the potential to circumvent all of the years of hard work that dedicated organizations have done when one wrong step catches the media's eye and hurts us all...
